I strongly believe that we all have the makings to be active in a way that is meaningful to us, despite how we are structured. Personally, I have moderate scoliosis in my spine. Instead of letting the daunting scoliosis diagnosis limit me, I’ve learned how to support it with strengthening, healing, and mobility self cares, so I can continue to hike, run, and participate in my favorite sports: volleyball, basketball, and golf. My passion is facilitate and teach my physical therapy clients to be as active and pain free as they can, regardless of their body structure.

Growing up a gymnast, chiropractic was what kept me balanced and strong, allowing me to find what it meant to have passion. That, plus a love of biology and incredible support was a natural path toward chiropractic and nutrition. Now, as a mom of three, I know that whether it’s athletics, pregnancy, babies/ kids, and beyond, the unique possibilities chiropractic can offer are endless. I am so grateful to have found my passion and be able to use my heart and my hands to facilitate health at any age and stage of life.

Devin Harwood

Devin completed his 600 hour massage therapy training at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, and became a certified massage therapist (CMT) in the Spring of 2013. There he was introduced to many different massage and bodywork modalities that helped him to navigate what his own personal “style” is.

His style is a mix of relaxation and therapeutic bodywork, blending many styles from: Deep Tissue, Craniosacral, Thai Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish Massage, and many more. Each session is customized to the individual to help address whatever your health and wellness needs may be!

His work is first and foremost grounded in calming, observing and adapting to the individuals nervous system; that which dictates all aspects of our lives. He believes that “deep” work doesn’t have to be painful to be effective and that addressing the whole opposed to one specific area can help to release years of pent up stagnation.

He proudly offers Pre-Natal work and is honored to be apart of your progression and to offer relief throughout your pregnancy.

Devin enjoys: Winter, snowboarding, cooking, Tolkien, learning about philosophy, sociology and psychology, period dramas, trashy, early 2000’s reality TV, music, and spending time with his cat son, Frankenstein.

Techniques: Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Sports, Injury/Chronic pain, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping (static), Pre-Natal, Relaxation (Swedish), Craniosacral Therapy, Structural Integration, Thai stretching and compression, Himalayan Salt Stone, TMJ work, Aromatherapy

Devin is proficient in all areas of bodywork but especially loves working on hip and glute issues as well as TMJ and neck

Born and raised in the small town of Emo, Ontario, Canada, I grew up a competitive, multi-sport athlete, with hockey & soccer consuming most of my athletic career. After graduating high school, I pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. During my time there, I worked as a Personal Trainer until graduation. Chiropractic and personal training have proven to be a potent combination and allowed me to integrate my love for movement into patient care. I also focus on the mind-body connection in my care, helping patients understand how emotions influence movement and pain.

Anyone who knows me can tell you that I have always had a hard time sitting still. Whether its reading, learning, exercising, cooking or being outdoors, I like to keep my body & mind in motion. You can still catch me playing competitive sports (broomball & bandy) all winter.

I’m constantly working to learn more, do more, and be more so that I can better serve my patients & the people in my life. Helping people is my passion, and through chiropractic, my passion has become my career. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to positively impact lives each and every day

About Me -

I was born in Hayfield, MN as the oldest of 4 siblings to parents who are both teachers. My younger years were all learn and play; with play including high school sports of football, basketball and baseball, with football continuing in college. The accumulation of sports trauma eventually lead me to a local chiropractor, which helped me to resolve injury and perform at a high level.

My parents always thought that one of the kids would be in education. Even though I never thought of myself being an educator in the classic sense, I find that a lot of my current practice involves teaching. My goal on each visit is to address what ails you, have you feeling and performing better; and also learning about what is giving you trouble and how to keep it from happening again.

Today, I continue my movement practice by chasing around our two-year old son and our chocolate lab ‘Louie’, by being in the weight room and by playing various sports. In my free time you can find me in the in the kitchen trying to replicate a family recipe.
